NLA Hosts Most Successful Convention

CD/NLA Show in Las Vegas Draws Over 2,200 Attendees as NLA Celebrates 40 Years  

MARLTON, N.J. – March 6, 2025 – The National Limousine Association (NLA) – the organization responsible for and dedicated to representing the interests of the chauffeured ground  transportation industry at the global, national, state and local levels – held its most successful conference of all time in partnership with Chauffeur Driven in Las Vegas this week. Over 2,200 attendees gathered at the Paris Las Vegas for four days of educational sessions, networking events and a show floor featuring over 90 exhibitors across the luxury ground transportation sector.

The conference featured expert speakers, cutting-edge technology and top industry vendors. Highlights included:

  • Combatting Illegal Operators: The Association Summit held a productive session focused on safety and combatting unlicensed drivers across the country, with speakers including Tom Gouldsbury, Preisdent of the Long Island Limousine Association; Anthony Manetta, Founder & President, Standard Advisory Group; Doug Schwartz, Second Vice President, National Limousine Association; and Matt Daus, Partner & Chair, Transportation Practice Group at Windels Marx Lane & Mittendorf, LLP.
  • Tackling the Insurance Crisis: Another top educational event, this session explored the systemic changes behind escalating insurance rates and provided actionable strategies to help mitigate costs, such as installing cameras and telematics. Speakers included Timothy Delaney, President of Lancer Insurance; Andrew Don, COO of Research Underwriters; Matt Daus, Partner & Chair, Transportation Practice Group at Windels Marx Lane & Mittendorf, LLP; and Jason Sharenow, COO of Broadway Elite Chauffeured Services Worldwide.
  • The Evolution of Limo Tech: AI is transforming the industry, from streamlined apps to green metrics tracking a ride’s carbon footprint. Numerous limo tech providers exhibited at the show such as GroundWidgets (recently acquired by Fullsteam), The Quote Bot, Whip Around and Moovs.
  • Keynote Address from Molly Fletcher: Hailed as the “female Jerry Maguire,” Fletcher made a name for herself as one of the first female sports agents, negotiating more than $500 million in contracts. In her speech, Unleash Your Potential, she shared a five-step proven process for achieving peak performance.

The NLA also announced its 2025 Executive Committee at the show, elected by its Board of Directors:

  • President Brett Barenholtz (At Large Region): CEO of Above All Transportation, Boston Car Service, ETS International and Maine Limousine
  • First Vice President Robert Alexander (At Large Region): CEO of RMA Worldwide Chauffeured Transportation
  • Second Vice President Doug Schwartz (Northeast Region): President of Executive Limousine
  • Treasurer Rick Versace (Southeast Region): CEO of A1A Airport & Limousine Service
  • Secretary Tiffany Hinton (West Region): COO of Motev

“I am deeply grateful for the opportunity to continue serving as the President of the National Limousine Association for 2025. Our recent conference in Las Vegas commenced on Sunday, marking the beginning of a new chapter,” said Brett Barenholtz, President of the NLA. “During this event, the Executive Committee was carefully chosen by the NLA board, setting the stage for impactful leadership.”

As the NLA celebrates its 40th anniversary this year, its leadership remains steadfast in its commitment to advocating for the industry and equipping its members with the tools to thrive in an evolving marketplace. The Association looks forward to hosting attendees at its next conference, the CD/NLA Fall Show, scheduled for Oct. 26-29, 2025, at the Gaylord Texan Resort & Convention Center in Grapevine, Texas.
