NLA Board election nominations

The NLA will be accepting nominations for the NLA Board of Directors election until Tuesday, September 17th, 2024 at 5:00 PM ET.  If you have been thinking about getting more involved with the NLA, this is the perfect opportunity. Don’t miss your chance to help shape the future of the association and the industry! 

We anticipate the election opening Monday, November 4th and closing Wednesday, November 6th. More information will be shared with eligible voting members as the election nears.

Prior to submitting your application for the NLA Board of Directors election, candidates should review the eligibility requirements and gather the necessary documentation.  All applications must be complete with all the necessary documents in order to be considered.

Be sure to have the following documents ready to upload in the application below:

  1. A brief biography that describes your background in the limousine industry.
  2. A paragraph that explains why you want to serve on the NLA Board of Directors and what your goals for the NLA will be if you are elected.
  3. A high-resolution headshot of yourself (in electronic format).
  4. Proof of legality in the cities/states/airports in which Regular Active Member operates. (Example: state, city, or airport permit or license)
  5. Certificate of insurance verifying Regular Active Member compliance with the state/federal requirements.
  6. Proof of your corporate officer position. (Example: Corporate resolution or articles of incorporation listing officers/shareholders)
  7. An explanation of anything the nominating committee should know about you that might reflect adversely on the NLA.
  8. New for 2024 – Submit at least two letters of recommendation with your application. One from an individual with at least three years of relevant industry experience and one from an individual outside the candidate’s region (as outlined in the NLA Bylaws)
